Continents
Continents was written during a time of transition and anticipation. It is a reflection on change, and the time and pain it takes to be moulded by God. As such, Continents is aptly the most sonically eclectic of all my works thus far - switching genres almost every song.
THE SPARROWS
Daniel and the Sparrows is the moniker of musician, songwriter, and producer Daniel Lim. His work is rooted in storytellingโcapturing real, often overlooked moments through authentic and emotionally rich music.
The phrase โand the Sparrowsโ is inspired by a timeless idea: that not even a single sparrow falls unnoticed. It reflects a desire to honor quiet, unseen lives and the deeper worth found in small, everyday stories.
โAre not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.โ
โ Matthew 10:29โ31

DANIEL LIM
Born in the UK and raised in Singapore, Daniel Lim has spent most of his life traveling the world, drawing inspiration from the cultures and stories he encounters along the way. These intercultural experiences deeply influence his songwriting, resulting in a distinctive style best described as "ethno-cinematic music."
As an audio engineer, Daniel has the flexibility to bring his studio on the road, along with the technical expertise to incorporate native sounds and local musicians into his work.
He uses the powerful human stories unearthed during his travels as creative fuel, writing music that aims to inspire and move hearts.
